Roma, positive first meeting between Fonseca and Dzeko to repair the relationship

Roma striker Edin Dzeko is looking to reclaim his place in Roma coach Fonseca's good graces, after the transfer window closed without a new destination for the Bosnian, the coach and player will look to repair their relationship. On Tuesday, Dzeko trained with the group and first met to speak with Fonseca, setting the stage for a coming together. There were small steps taken to bridge the divide, however a definitive decision was made to strip Dzeko of the captain's armband, giving it instead to Lorenzo Pellegrini. The positive news at the moment is that both parties appear willing to come to an agreement for the good of Roma's season, as they are still in competition for several important objectives.
