Lorenzo Pellegrini is staying at Roma, as his agent Giampiero Pocetta has confirmed in an interview with Sky Sport.
"A lot has been said about him, there were many interviews with numerous squads that exposed their projects, some very interesting. Lorenzo is flattered by all of this, many teams in Italy wanted him, and same abroad, but it's decided that he'll stay in giallorosso. The words from Totti charged him with responsibility, he's a mature guy and doesn't escape these situations. Other than that, he's convinced by the validity of Roma's project."
"If we wanted to leave, he'd have already done that. The recession clause was placed because it allows you to leave a room in which you don't want to be from the moment that you feel appropriate. Pellegrini wants to remain with Roma, we are also talking about a renewal and adaptation of the contract with the club, even if, like for the clause, we don't have urgency to define certain things."
Pocetta also spoke on his client Defrel: "He's in the operation with Barella and Roma? I don't know anything about this discussion, but the rossoblù and other teams like Defrel a lot."
