Lorenzo Pellegrini, midfielder for Roma, has his eyes set on a Champions League birth heading into the second half of the season. The player shared his thoughts with Sky Sport.
"We need to play better when on the road, and we're aware of this. To arrive in the top four means you have to do better. Surely fourth place is our goal at minimum. I'm very confident in this squad. It would be absurd if Roma didn't finish in the top 4 in Serie A."
The player also touched upon his new role as a trequartista, where he competes for playing time with Pastore and Zaniolo.
"We're three players for one spot. I'm available to the manager to play in any role. Trequartista is a role that let's me express myself the best and I have the most fun, but I'd play even as a fullback for my team. The trequartista cannot think too much about tactical questions compared to other midfielders, I feel more free, but I can get used to any role."
