As Coronavirus has halted Serie A play, Roma has suspended training indefinitely and has given players personalized programs to complete at home. Javier Pastore spoke on his time away from the pitch and his recovery from a hip injury when speaking with Cadena 3.
"The club sent materials to all of us at home, like bicycles and other things, therefore we are working. I believe that this 'stop' will last beyond April 3rd, then when we start again we'll need 15 days of preparation. In Italy they were talking about this almost as if it was a joke, up until the hospitals were hit. Since last Wednesday we are quarantined at home, without being able to do anything like going to train, moving or traveling. I train in the morning and afternoon to divide it into parts and occupy my time. For us who are always outside and travel a lot it's an opportunity to be with our children and I'm taking advantage of that. We were supposed to train this Wednesday in more groups, but after the government's decision, everything is stopped. And we don't know if we will really return on April 3. It could last longer."
