While Roma players are focused on defeating Napoli in the race for the second place, the topics of Francesco Totti and Luciano Spalletti's future continue to be a distraction. Il Messaggero contacted Roma's president James Pallotta who had this to say on the subjects from Boston:"It was very nice to see the fans applaud Totti and his amazing class, but the team must always come first. The manager made the right substitution, because we are battling to qualify for the Champions League. If he had played Totti for five/six minutes some would have said it was a lack of respect. I wouldn't blame Spalletti if he left Roma, because the media writes foolish things every week. Just wait until the end of the season, he'll have a lot to say, he'll tell you whole story"
