Steven Nzonzi is moving to Galatasary from Roma on loan for next season. The giallorossi posted the news on their official site, confirming the details of the operation for the midfielder:
"AS Roma can confirm that an agreement has been reached with Turkish club Galatasaray for the temporary transfer of midfielder Steven Nzonzi. Nzonzi will join the Turkish club on an initial season-long loan deal, which runs until 30 June 2020. As part of the agreement, Galatasaray have the option to make the transfer permanent - prior to the expiration of the loan - for a fixed fee of €16 million. The club also have the option to extend the loan for a further 12 months - until 30 June 2021 - for a loan fee of €500,000. If that option is activated, the club can also make the transfer permanent, prior to the conclusion of the deal, for a fee of €13m. Nzonzi, 30, joined the Giallorossi in the summer of 2018, shortly after playing a part in France’s World Cup-winning squad. During the 2018-19 season he made 39 appearances for the Giallorossi, scoring one goal. The club would like to wish Steven the best of luck for the future."
