Roma, no deal with Sporting for Doumbia: now Fenerbahce is an option

It was a miserable six months for Seydou Doumbia at Roma. He could have returned to CSKA Moscow before finishing last season on loan with Basel. The Ivorian has a contract with Roma until 2019 with a yearly salary of 3 million euros. It is heavy price that the Giallorossi want to dispose of. There were negotiations with Sporting Lisbon, but nothing came to fruition. The reason? Fenerbahce inserted themselves into the negotiations and offered the player a better yearly salary. The two clubs will meet next week to seek to the conclude the negotiations.
