Roma are getting ready for the first leg of the Europa League semifinal against Manchester United. Henrikh Mkhitaryan discussed his time with the Red Devils during an interview with The Athletic:"I had a difficult time there, but after the first two/three months, I enjoyed myself there very much. I won three trophies with the club, which is fantastic. Some players who have been at Manchester for years have yet to win anything"
The former Bundesliga player of the year was asked about Roma's current season:"We are the only Italian club left in Europe. Injuries made our routine more complicated because we play three games a week and our opponents just once, but we don't complain. We know there are just three games left in Europa League, so we must fight and give our best"
Mkhitarian was asked about his current manager Fonseca:"He's similar to Tuchel, he's trying to put the players in the right position giving them freedom to have fun and play their style. I've had the best coaches in my career and I learned a lot, not just about football, but also life"
