The negotiations for Smalling to Roma are at the final steps. At 11 am in Trigoria a meeting have begun between Roma directors and Jozo Palac, intermediary of the deal. The parts are trying to close an agreement: Smalling gave his 'OK' since his flight back to Manchester on 6th August, without being able to play with Roma in the Europa League match against Sevilla.
The player has always given his preference to the Italian club, who now have to close a deal that everybody wants to happen: Manchester United, Roma and Smalling.
