Chasing fourth place hs so far been a success for Roma, as they're just a point away from the qualification zone. They'll take on Genoa this evening with the single objective of returning home with three points, but it will not be easy. Kostas Manolas spoke prior to the match on the team since Claudio Ranieri took over.
"We're expecting to play four finals, but if we win them all we are in Champions League. The match against Genoa will be difficult and against a team that still hasn't saved themselves. We'll always work hard in Genova, we need to enter the pitch to win. If we don't return home with three points, Champions will be further away. Regrets? The two matches lost against SPAL and the tie against Chievo."
"We're a more compact team now, we changed mentality from when Di Francesco was here. First we tried to press high, now we're more united. You can see that this behavior brings results. Now we're more compact and defend in 11, not three or four. Ranieri is always looking to motivate us. Training sessions are always competitive. He gives us energy in the matches, to always win. Then we transfer that onto the pitch. He's a great man, who always talks to you face to face and not your shoulders. He's made us more compact, that's his philosophy."
