Roma, Manolas: "I want to stay here, it's our goal to improve on last year"

Kostas Manolas was among the leaders on the field Roma last season, and helped the club experienced the heights of a Champions League semifinal. In an exclusive interview with Sky Sport, the center back talked about his desires for a future with the giallorossi: "We lost Nainggolan, but I am convinced that we can be better this year than last. The goal against Barcelona was the best moment of my career, I hope to have more experiences here. I've said many times I am happy at Roma, there are four years left on my contract and I am ready to give my all. Alisson? I hope he stays, he is a very strong player. The goal is to give everything on the field, to honor the fans; I want to do better than last year, because there is always a chance to do better, especially in the league." Also asked about Ronaldo joining Juventus' squad next season, Manolas responded: "I am not worried, we are strong but we must prove that every time. Ronaldo has won five ballon d'or, with Messi he's among the best in the world, but we shouldn't be afraid of anyone. I am ready to go against him."
