Roma makes a first offer for Sassuolo's Defrel

A pupil could be returning to his tutor, Eusebio Di Francesco's Roma is making their first contact for Sassuolo's Grégoire Defrel. The first offer was 15 million euros, even though Sassuolo is asking for 25-30 million euros. The Giallorossi are persisting because they consider him a priority. Di Francesco would like to sign him because he is a versatile forward which means he can play in any forward position. Also, there is a good relationship between Sassuolo and Roma. The latest deal between the two clubs for Fratesi and Marchizza demonstrates the shared goodwill. It will take another attempt from Roma and for Sassuolo to lower their demands before any deal is made. Roma really wants to close this deal because they were following Defrel since last January.
