Roma make extension offer to De Rossi

After a loss in the Derby della Capitale against Lazio this Sunday, a report from Paolo Assogna of Sky Sport has Roma preparing to offer a contract extension to Daniele De Rossi. The deal is for €3m net of taxes for one season, plus the option for a second year, with bonuses the contract could reach €4m. This increased offer seems to be acceptable to De Rossi, enough to convince him to stay with the giallorossi, despite a €5.5m net salary of of two years from Inter, and interest coming as well from Milan. Roma are preparing for the future and look favored to keep the midfielder onboard for the short-term.
