Roma have made an attempt to acquire Nicolò Barella. A clear target of Inter, the Giallorossi tried to outdo the Nerazzurri's offer: Luca Pellegrini, Grégoire Defrel, and financial considerations were offered to Cagliari. The Rossoblu approved of the offer, however, Barella preferred a move to Inter. Therefore, negotiations were concluded.
