There is a new injury for Roma to worry about: 19 year-old Italian defender Luca Pellegrini has sprained his left ankle. The diagnostic tests will be performed in the evening to get a complete and accurate clinical picture on the extent of the injury.
Yet another physical problem for the Giallorossi: Daniele De Rossi, who has been treated with the help of therapy, will probably miss the away match against Fiorentina this upcoming weekend. The same goes for Greek center-half Kostas Manolas: after the blow to the quadriceps femoris muscle in the 1-1 against Napoli, there will be only therapies, with exams that have excluded injuries of any kind; Florence is as unlikely for him as the captain.
Javier Pastore and Justin Kluivert may return to the group this weekend, while for the two of Rick Karsdorp and Diego Perotti (who are expected to return for Di Francesco next week), there has been only individual training.
