Roma and the Italian national team are in a state of preoccupation over the condition of Lorenzo Pellegrini.
The midfielder, withdrawn in the 72' of the derby against Lazio, underwent examinations which revealed a grade-one strain of the flexor in his left thigh, Sky revealed.
Pellegrini will be unavailable for Roma's final match of the season against Spezia, while there remains the chance that his fitness for the Euros could be in question.
Pellegrini is expected to miss 15 days for recovery, missing the first friendly match against San Marino in preparations for the summer tourney. After, he could be able to return to selection for Roberto Mancini.
