Roma is facing another unlucky blow as defender Marash Kumbulla will be out for the remainder of the season due to an injury sustained with Albania. The player left the national team camp after reporting soreness in his knee, causing him to return back to the giallorossi ahead of schedule.
After undergoing testing, the results showed Kumbulla is suffering from a torn lateral meniscus, an injury that will end his season. Kumbulla will follow a rehabilitation course rather than opting for surguery. The recovery time is expected to be around three months.
