A series of injuries derailed Rick Karsdorp's initial experience at Roma, but now he's determined to establish himself with the giallorossi. The Dutch wingback discussed what has changed for him recently while answering questions during the pre match press conference to introduce the showdown with CSKA Sofia:"I'm happy to be here and be part of this team. I spoke to the Friedkin's this summer, it was nice conversation. Everyone knows my situation from last season, I was on loan at Feyenoord. This season I returned with the convinction of playing, I feel better after the injury. I must improve, but I'm certain I can do well"
Karsdorp went on:"I returned to Feyenoord but I wasn't happy to leave Roma, I simply told myself that as a young player at his first experience in Italy, it wasn't an easy situation and that I felt ore comfortable training with fellow countrymen. Now things are different, I'm happy to be here"
