The negotiations to bring Gerson to Lille are practically over as agreements have been made on all fronts: The only thing missing is the official statement. The deal is for an expensive loan with option to buy. The sum Lille will spend for the loan is so high that it seems inevitable for them to exercise their eventual option to buy the player.
While the last few details are being looked at, the sum that the French side will have to pay for the loan is of 5 million Euros. The option to buy should then be for 13 million Euros, making this an 18 million Euro deal.
