Roma, from Vermaelen and Fazio to Nacho and Kolasinac: the latest

Jean-Luca Mascaro (@CalcioNews89) Roma are working to find some new defensive help for coach Luciano Spalletti. Contacts are ongoing with Barcelona for Thomas Vermaelen (born in 1985). He is the main target for Roma as they would like to get him on loan with an option to buy. At the moment, Barcelona want to cash in on him and are asking for 15 million euros. Vermaelen has had injury problems and this is why Roma do not want to invest on him right away. Federico Fazio of Tottenham is an alternative. He is a player that Tottenham might be willing to let go on loan, as both teams are still in negotiations. There has also been a recent contact with Schalke for Kolasinac (born in 1993). Finally, Real Madrid have left the door slightly open on a possible deal for Nacho.
