After arriving in the Capital this morning, Paulo Fonseca visited the Trigoria sports center, before expressing all of his emotions to the Roma TV microphones. Their newest manager, the Portuguese 46-year-old had clear words about why he chose this club and what he desires.
"Being here is a great pleasure. For me, it's a great challenge. I am happy and motivated and I believe we can do great things together. I didn't think twice, when the call came from Roma, it was fantastic. Training this team is one of the goals of most coaches in Europe. I want to build something special and different with my ideas. I met with President Pallotta and we talked about our ideas, it was very fruitful. He was very interested and I felt his support. I'm ready: I want to build a brave team that plays with quality against any opponent - for me it's the most important thing. And with these players I think it's possible. Implementing my game will not be easy, but I believe in the qualities of these players".
