Roma, already having advanced to the Europa League quarterfinals, will return focus to Serie A ahead of a match with Napoli. The giallorossi have drawn Ajax in the next round, while their opponents have been without European matches while both teams look to capture a top four spot. Roma coach Paulo Fonseca spoke to the press about the idea that Napoli will be better rested ahead of the match: "We are ready for this match, there are no excuses, the team is motivated and I expect a good performance. Napoli won against Milan, they are one of the strongest teams in the league this year. They keep possesion and defend very well. The team is well, we are not thinking about hte Europa League now. We are proud of the accomplishment but tomorrow's match is an important one."
Fonseca discussed the return of some important players: "Smalling doesn't require surgury, but he will be out, along with Veretout and Mkhitaryan. They are in recovery, after the break I think they'll be back in the team. We are not thinking about the missing players, we need to focus on those who are available."
