After the convincing 4-0 win in the Europa League debut against Basaksehir, Roma returns to Serie A action, as they prepare to travel to Bologna to face Sinisa Mihajlovic's side. Coach Paulo Fonseca discussed tactics and the impact of the new signings in the pre-match press conference:
"The lads are in good shape, both physically and mentally. In Europa League we started players that were more rested, that will allow us to play the guys that didn't start on Thursday. Bologna will be a great test for us, to see what we are capable of. They're in good form, motivated and play with the same character as their coach. In Italy it isn't easy to dominate possession - all the teams are so good. But nevertheless that is something we are looking to improve. Cristante and Veretout will start in midfield tomorrow, that's because in Serie A I like two play with two holding midfiedlers and a trequartista. This assett allows us to build up the play in the best way possible. My team selection always depends on the way our opponents are likely to play and what we need to do in each match. "
