Roma manager Paulo Fonseca spoke with the press after his team's 4-3 victory over Cagliari.

"Kalinic? We changed 5 players after the Gent match, we have a lot of tired players and Dzeko was the most tired. I chose to play Kalinic because he's training well and he played well."

"Too much suffering? We didn't need to suffer so much until the very end. We played a great match and created many occasions to close it before: 5 clear chances for goals. It wasn't right to not win today."

"With a Mkhitaryan in this form would the standings be different? I cannot say it, but he's returning very well. Today he played a great match, he gets better day after day. Will he play when Pellegrini returns? These are the great problems for a manager. There's space for everyone, especially the best."

'Atalanta is going very strong. Offensively they are strong and are in a good moment like always during the season. But we want to fight until the end for fourth place. A Europa League victory qualifying a spot in Champions League? Yes, but this pressure isn't right at this time. We must first win against Sevilla who is a strong team and then think one match at a time. It's not right to think about a final now when we have two difficult matches against a team that has won 5 Europa Leagues in the past 15 years. A race just against Atalanta for Champions League. Napoli is returning, Milan is strong."

"Villar? He's Young with great qualities that he showed today. He was playing in the second Spanish division and played well today with courage. Bruno Peres? He's a fullback with offensive quality. He must improve a lot defensively but has the ability to come out of the pressure."
