After the 2-0 defeat against Atalanta, Roma's coach Paulo Fonseca is prepared to make some changes in the lineup for the match against Lecce. "I'll make some changes - the coach said in the pre-match press conference - We have many games and some players are tired, so I'll make my decisions keeping this aspect in mind. I won't reveal the starting lineup, but I'll probably make changes in every departement. In my opinion fitness it's not an issue, people praised us for our fitness levels just a week ago. However, we concede a lot of goals and that's a fact, of course we are not happy to conced two goals per game. It's not just about defence, we have to find balance".
The coach then spoke about some of the players that could be affected by his squad rotation tomorrow: "Zaniolo? let's see if he will play tomorrow or not, I spoke with him as I spoke with everyone else. Smalling? Again, let's see. On the one hand it was his first game, on the other hand Fazio has played every game so far. Pellegrini? He is feeling well and will be in the squad. He is in great shape".
