Coming off a victory over SPAL, Roma now takes on Fiorentina. Manager Paulo Fonseca spoke with the press prior to the match.
"The team is having a good moment, but we all must continue to grow together. Now we're only thinking about Fiorentina, we must maintain the same ambition in the next matches. It's a new formation, we have a ot to learn, but the team feels well. They have confidence and are motivated. These last matches were important to arrive ready for Fiorentina."
"I'm not thinking about the market, just Fiorentina. I'm only thinking about tomorrow's match and not the one against Sevilla. We changed our style of play, but Fiorentina is playing very well. They have not lost in their last six matches, they tied with Inter and are doing well. It will be a different and very difficult match."
"Dzeko is feeling well, he's not unhappy and he's very motivated. It's important for me to feel that he's motivated. Bruno Peres and Kolarov are tired? They can play tomorrow. Zaniolo? There's no problem here. In every team there are these things, this is a non-issue. He played well in the last match, but we must not forget that he didn't train prior. We'll see tomorrow. It's important to manage the situation well after 6 months of injury. We must be aggressive in every occasion, but defend the zones, not man to man, even if there are circumstances that it happens."
