Roma are having a turbulent season as the Giallorossi failed to repeat their incredible run in the Champions League they had last year and they are three points behind Atalanta, the current favourite for a chase to the last UCL spot. Right-back Alessandro Florenzi revealed his disappointment for the team's season in an interview with Sky Sport: "Every season is different. Last year we performed incredibly well in the Champions League, next year we have to do better". In their chase to Atalanta, the Giallorossi will have to overcome a difficult hurdle that goes by the name of Juventus: "This game is basically our last call. We know how important this game is for the city, so we have to get three points. The difference between us and Juventus is the 30-points gap, so there are several aspects to consider. We have to start over, this season has been our worst one of the last few years".

Finally, Florenzi was asked about Roma's new stadium, with the costruction work still being stalled: "It's funny, because people used to ask the same questions [about the stadium] to Francesco Totti. If things keep going like this, I could retire before I get the chance to play in the new stadium, just like happened with Francesco. I believe that this club and its fans have the right to support their team in their own stadium".
