After losing 4-1 to Napoli this past weekend, Roma are looking for three points against Fiorentina in the midweek round of the Serie A TIM, which is scheduled for Wednesday 3 April at 9.00pm. An important challenge for both teams, who are experiencing a period that is anything but positive, Claudio Ranieri's Giallorossi and Stefano Pioli's Viola need three points.
ROMA
There are still many still absences and almost obligatory choices for Ranieri, with the return of Lorenzo Pellegrini as the only good news... Stephan El Shaarawy and Alessandro Florenzi are out due to injury, while Kostas Manolas has been stopped due to a suspension from the sporting judge. In addition, Daniele De Rossi is not yet ready to play from the start. In the 4-2-3-1 that the Giallorossi manager has in mind,
it should be Steven Nzonzi to start in defensive midfield roles, together with Bryan Cristante; Cengiz Under, Nicolo Zaniolo and Diego Perotti will be the trio of midfielders behind Schick, who is favourited to start over the struggling Edin Dzeko (ankle problem).
FIORENTINA
A smile comes thanks to the return of German Pezzella, who will be positioned at the center of the four-man defense (paired with Vitor Hugo). Nikola Milenkovic and Cristiano Biraghi will start in left and right back. Alban Lafont will play on goal. Out is Marko Pjaca; in doubt are Edimilson and Federico Chiesa. Bryan Dabo will play as a defensive midfielder, with Marco Benassi and Jordan Veretout in the role of mezzali. In attack will be Luis Muriel and Giovanni Simeone, alongside Gerson.
