Edin Dzeko is currently on international duty with his country, Bosnia, but that didn't stop him from speaking about his club Roma. The giallorossi will face Barcelona in the quarterfinals of the Champions League after the international break, and Dzeko had this to say in an interview with Novilist.hr : "Barcelona is certainly the favorite, not only to make it through to the semifinal but also to win the Champions League. We, however, don't begin already beaten and I'm convinced that if we play as a team we can do good things just like against Shakhtar. To be in the best eight teams in Europe for us is already a great achievement, but that doesn't mean we won't give our best to pass this obstacle.
"In the beginning of the competition we gained the sympathy of all of Europe because we were drawn into a very difficult group and we managed to get through it very well. Many thought we couldn't do it, but instead we eliminated Atletico Madrid who not too long ago played in the final and we also finished ahead of Chelsea. Now, along with Juventus, we reached the final eight and its been many years since two Italian teams made it. It has been an important result for all of Italian football, which according to me is getting stronger year by year, therefore it doesn't surprise me that two Italian teams are in the quarterfinals."
