Edin Dzeko gave an interview to Bosnian website klix.ba, where he discussed the transfer to Chelsea that ultimately fell apart: "It's true that there were some deals for me that were close in January, but there was also a lot of speculation, mistruth, and also a few ridiculous claims. I am being honest: I was really flattered by the interest from Chelsea, it's a club that I value and respect a lot. But I am staying at Roma, and I am happy to stay because Roma is the closest I have to a home and is part of my life. I have spent some of the happiest moments of my life here: I became a father, my daughter Una and my son Dani were born. Have I scored less this year than I did last year? Yes, but I am always concerned about the team more than my own personal success. We have a bunch of games left and we are doing our best to reach our goals. It will be hard, but we won't give up."
