Roma has climbed back to fifth place after a 2-0 victory over Parma. Below are manager's Eusebio Di Francesco's words after speaking to the press.
"We've begun to get important players back from injury," opened Di Francesco. "I liked the squad very much and I knew that in the first half we'd work hard to combat Parma's tactics and for the offensive solutions that they have. We suffered only one real restart and grew a lot in the second half. We set the tone with the quality of our play, I really liked how we played in the second half."
"In this moment, we don't have an attacker like Ronaldo who scores 10/12 goals in the league, but I like this trait of ours. I like when everyone scores goals. Of course, though, I'd prefer our attackers to score more."
Zaniolo? When you choose a green line you have some difficult games and that is normal. I played him in the Champions League because I saw important qualities. Today he didn't play as well as he can, but that is normal. You can't think that a player who's used to playing in the Primavera until last year can play 3 games a week at a certain level. I expected a decline, but he needs to keep growing with humility to understand what it takes to do this job. I also see growth from Kluivert and Under. Pellegrini is also a leader by now. He's been with me for 4 years and I've known him for a while."
