Roma, Di Francesco breaks down the derby defeat to Lazio: "We weren't preoccupied by the Champions League"

The outcome of the Derby della Capitale went in favor of Lazio, and Roma were left to collect the pieces after a heavy defeat to their rivals. After the match, coach of the giallorossi Eusebio Di Francesco spoke to Sky Sport and lamented on the negative result: "It was a heavy loss, in the first half we didn't perform, we gave up too much space to Lazio who won several duels. We defended poorly and because of that we struggled to attack. We need to use this loss and prepare for the next match. I don't accept that we undervalued this derby because we were thinking about the Champions League. We take our responsibility for ourself. Manolas had a fever, Zaniolo took a knock in the first half. I hope that they both recover for the match in Portugal."
