The loss to Porto and subsequent elimination from the Champions League have intensified the speculation on Eusebio Di Francesco’s status as Roma’s manager. Following the defeat captain Daniele De Rossi was asked about the situation during an interview with Sky Sport:”I don’t want to comment on this delicate matter. I hope nothing happens, I hope our efforts were enough to demonstrate something. He’s still the manager that brought us to the Champions League semifinal. He deserved credit and respect, then we know that in league play we aren’t doing well and that the manager’s future depends from the results”.
