After joining Roma from Atalanta in Monchi's busy summer transfer window, Bryan Cristante has earned himself a spot in Di Francesco's line-up week in, week out. The Italian midfielder commented his and the team's moment in an interview with Sky Sport: "We didn't do our best in the last few games, we have to do better against the teams that are more beatable on paper. Serie A is not easy, but we have to work on that and succeed. We are working hard on the pitch, now we have to start to be consistent. Where will we finish? Top four. Our goal is getting Champions League qualification and we are confident we can make it".
"I have a good relationship with all my teammate, we are very united in the changing room, we talk a lot. I feel lucky, it's not something you find everyday", continued Cristante. Among his teammates, the fromer Atalanta player focused on the other midifielders in the team: "Zaniolo is proving that he is going to become a great player. He is doing very well, he must keep it going. With Nzonzi we are learning the right movements to do on the pitch, while De Rossi is one of those players you have to observe everyday and try to 'steal' as many things as possible from him"
