Roma is working on selling some players during the winter transfer market, and one of those players is Bruno Peres. Portuguese club Benfica is interested in the Brazilian, and negotiations are ongoing. There will be more conversations with the intermediaries over the weekend, with the player's agent ready to go to Lisbon if necessary. Benfica is offering Roma a loan with an obligation to purchase worth 9 million euro plus bonuses. The deal could also include an option for Roma to purchase a starlet of Benfica's B squad, youngster Gedson Fernandes, a midfielder from the class of '99. Negotiations will continue in the hopes of an agreement amongst all parties.
