After a long back and forth, Carles Perez was finally authorized to leave for Italy so he can join his new club. Roma and Barcelona had previously agreed to the terms of a loan deal with forced option to buy- with easily attainable benchmarks- for a total of between €12/13 million.
The sticking point was Barcelona's desire to have a buy back clause, while the two clubs first discussed giving the blaugrana a right of first refusal, they will now have the option of matching any offer on Perez down the road.
