Roma, Baldissoni and Massara in Milan: meeting with Bologna over Sadiq, the situation

Roma remain active on the market and today in Milan, their general director Mauro Baldissoni and sporting director Frederic Massara to meet with Bologna over Umar Sadiq. The player is currently on loan in Roberto Donadoni's Bologna side, but the sides were in discussion about possibly bringing the attacker back to Roma. Ladislav Krejci, another player on Bologna's team who could be attractive to Roma, remains, however, not yet under discussion. But Sassuolo's Defrel is a target certainly, and Roma continue to try although it is a difficult option, as Sassuolo are unwilling to sell him in January. The date for Alessandro Florenzi to return to the team has been set at 15 February - important, since Roma would consider adding a player in that role if they found someone who was ready, unlikely to add a young player. Tonight, Baldissoni and Massara will be in the San Siro for the Coppa Italia match between Inter and Bologna, and will return to Rome tomorrow.
