Gianluca Mancini is Roma's number one goal for their backline. The young Italian, coming off a terrific 2018/19 campaign with Atalanta, has been selected by new manager Fonseca to replace Greek international defender Kostas Manolas, who recently moved to Napoli after five seasons with the Giallorossi. Contacts between the two clubs will start again in the next few hours with the Roman side set to bring him to the Capital as soon as possible.
