The injury suffered by Nicolò Zaniolo during the match against Juventus has forced Roma to change their plans and search for a possible replacement for the Italian young attacking midfielder.
In less than 24 hours, the Giallorossi have opened the conversations with Inter about a possible swap deal that would bring Matteo Politano back to Roma and Leonardo Spinazzola to Inter. A deal could be reached on Tuesday.
The negotiations between the sides are on the path to a positive conclusion also considering that both players are represented by the same agents Pennacchi and Lippi. The two clubs are now working to decide the form of the transfer and will hold more contacts in the coming hours in order to reach an agreement on the figures of the deal (both players are valued at about the same price) and close the deal.
