"Me as the Italian national team's coach? One day, if there's the possibility...". Roberto Mancini dreams about that bench. The Zenit coach, whose team is second of the league at the moment, doesn't loose sight on Italy and Serie A. He's given an interview to Il Corriere dello Sport:

"Insigne? He's strong but there are other great players at Napoli. There's Hamsik for example, I wanted to bring him at Inter when he played for Brescia. Did I get wrong? (he smiles). Dybala? Inter could have got him, the deal was done with Palermo, they only needed to improve their offer. If you offer 25M and they ask for 35, you should do the sacrifice for this kind of player. You could already see he would become a champion, he still is able to improve a lot. I'm sorry I didn't get to train him, he's one of the players that gets you entertained. Is he at Ronaldo, Messi or Neymar's levels? He's got everything to succeed but still misses something at the moment".

About Inter: "I'm not surprised because I knew it would only be a matter of time before they got back at the top. We've builded a strong basis that has been improved every year. Spalletti is a great expert coach and has important players. Credits goes to everyone. Some errors may have been made during the growing process but you could have seen that it was an important team. My work has been left in the middle like it is for every fired coach but I'm glad Inter are back there. If they are still at this position before the end they could fight for the Scudetto".

He also talks about Italy's chances to get to the World Cup: "I'm sure they'll do it. A World Cup without Italy isn't a real World Cup. Every time we struggle to get there we play a great competition. It's unavoidable Italy are the favorites. Balotelli? Ventura calls the players, I don't want to get in between. Mario needs to continue playing well, scoring goals and I hope his moment could come. Me as the Italian national team coach? It's a great deal for an Italian to coach "la Nazionale". An exceptional one. If there's the possibility...".
