Robben:”I’ve considered going back to playing a few times”

Retiring from professional sports it's never easy, especially for athletes used to competing at the highest levels. Most of the time it's a decision that goes against the mind and the heart because it's driven by a drop on phsycal ability and in the past we've seen starts like Crujiff, Rivaldo and Scholes decide to return. Could Arjen Robben be next?

The Dutch international left the door open in a recent interview:"At the beginning I didn't miss football at all, but then there was a phase when I missed it and I considered returning a few times to play a little bit more. From time to time I have these thoughts. But maybe it's a sensation that stays within forever when you are an athlete. When you are retired no one is waiting for you and you need something worthwhile to get up in the morning, in my case I have my kids. But at the moment I have nothing specific planned"
