Arjen Robben has been sidelined since November 27th, 2018 and at the current moment, things do not seem to be improving... His last appearance on the pitch dates back to that European challenge against Benfica, in which Bayern Munich defeated the Portuguese club by a scoreline fo 5-1. He was substituted in the 72'. Looking towards the clash against Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool for the knockout stages next week, the Dutchman was hoping to be back but will still be unavailable, much to this frustration.
In an interview with BILD, Robben, who has an expiring contract next June, has unveiled his fears: "It's not going well, we're trying everything, but nothing's working out at the moment. Unfortunately, it's one of those where you don't know the exact problem. It's difficult, and very frustrating. I was pretty close to making my comeback twice before, I was back with the team, but then there were more setbacks. It's not easy mentally."
