Report by Diego Errichetti
Ricardo Rodriguez wants to go to Inter, and Inter wants Ricardo Rodriguez. However, there is more than just interest from both parties. The negotiations to bring the Wolfsburg left-back have been ongoing, and in the coming weeks, an agreement could be reached. During the January market, the Swiss refused multiple offers: clubs from the Premier League were interested as well as PSG and Marseille. Despite this, Rodriguez chose to stay in Germany and wait until the summer to sort out his future. All roads currently lead to Inter, but there will be no absence of competition. PSG, Real Madrid, and Manchester City could all return to show interest in the player; all of these teams require a reinforcement on the left. However, with the help of Suning, Inter is in a good position to potentially complete a deal. As more evidence accumulates, it appears more certain that the defender wants Inter. The sensation is that by Spring the player's future will be more clearly defined.
