In an article released in German newspaper Bild, Bayern Munich's Renato Sanches discussed his current situation. The 1997-born midfielder gave a clear picture of his desires to leave Germany, and in the piece was asked about Milan as well: "I wasn't happy with my first year in Germany. I want to play more, so I want to change teams and find somewhere which will allow me to go out there with more consistency. Milan is an intriguing option. If there was the chance that the clubs could find an agreement, I would consider going. I'm part of the tournament with Bayern now but we'll be back in Munich soon and I hope that a better solution about my future can be found then. I am young, I want to play more. It's certain that the opportunities I would have at Milan are better than what I'm facing here in Germany."
