The debut in the International Champions Cup didn’t go particularly well for Real Madrid considering their 3-1 loss to Bayern Munich, but Zinedine Zidane has to also deal with the situation surrounding Gareth Bale. Following the match the Blancos manager had this to say:”If he were to leave tomorrow it would be better. He wasn’t selected because the club is negotiating his sale. This is the reason why he didn’t play, we’ll see what happens. I have nothing personal against him, but I have to make my decisions. This is a moment to change, it’s better for everyone if he leaves.
