Real Madrid president Florentino Perez dropped some hints about Los Blancos next transfer campaign in an interview with El Transistor on Onda Cero, starting from what could be the Spanish side's first signing of the 2019/2020 season: "Hazard? We have been trying to sign him for years and now I hope we can make it happen. I am very confident. He is one of the best players in football. Griezmann? Nobody offered him, I am sure about that. Neymar and Mbappè? Zidane and I never talked about them, and no one at the club contacted them. We denied this speculation last year too. If we are interested in them, we will hold talks with their club. Bale? We received offers for him".
The president also confirmed the rumours of Sergio Ramos requesting to leave following an offer from China: "He came to see me with his representatives. They asked me to let him go for free because transfers to China are very complicated. I told them that I couldn't let him leave for free and that we could talk about it with the Chinese club (interested in signing him). There's no chance that I could let the club's captain leave for free, it would have set a terrible precedent. I can not sell my captain like that". Finally, Perez returned on the sale of Cristiano Ronaldo to Juventus: "He didn't leave because of injuries, he wanted a change, a new challenge, and he found that at Juventus. There never was any problem between us, he was a role model and I will remember him as the best signing I ever made".
