Real Madrid, Lopetegui on Modric: "He will stay with us, no doubt about it"

After dealing with Ronaldo's departure, Real Madrid could lose another big name of their squad, as the rumors of a Modric sale intensifies. The Blancos' new coach Julen Lopetegui voiced his opinion on the matter, as the Spanish media outlets report: "The president already talked about Modric, there's not much to add. He is an extraordinary player, we are waiting for him with open arms. I've talked to him after the World Cup, we decided that his return would have been on the 8th so we could start preparing the first key match of the season (the Supercup against Atletico Madrid). I've also told him that I love watching him - Lopetegui continued - and I think he will be happy to keep playing with Real Madrid. He is a Madrid player and he'll stay with us, no doubt about it".
