The return to Real Madrid after his experience at Bayern Munich was quite disappointing for James Rodriguez who only played 782 minutes in 14 matches last season and had no appearance after the lockdown. The Colombian star didn't hide his displeasure in a recent interview with Daniel Habif:"It's frustrating not to play, I know I'm in condition to always take to the pitch. If I was a bad player I would accept it, but I'm a person who wants to win and always play. When you see you don't have the same opportunities as your teammates, it's hard. I wanted to leave but the club didn't let me"
Rodriguez has clear ideas when it comes to his future:"I would also like to know where I'm going. It could take days or weeks to know. I honestly don't know. I want to go where I can play and where I can be happy"
