Inter are still hoping that Luka Modric could join the club before the transfer window closes. Modric's agent Vlado Lemic is pushing Real Madrid to agree for his client to be sold. Discussions will take place after the Supercoppa match on Wednesday, for which Modric is part of the squad. A possible turning point for the deal is interest from Real in Tottenham's Christian Eriksen, however the asking price is a hefty â¬200 million. The price for the potential replacement is too high for Real to pay, and without a new addition in midfield it may be impossible for the club to let Modric go.
