After arriving in the Ukraine with a lot of enthusiasm last summer, Fabrizio Ravanelli’s adventure as Arsenal Kiev’s manager is coming to an end. The heavy home loss to Olimpico Donetsk will be the former Juventus’ striker’s last match on the club’s bench, he agree to rescind his contract after nine games- one loss, one draw and seven losses.
Ravanelli has this to say about the development:”Unfortenately I had to face a situation that continued to get more complex. Difficulties have never been an obstacle for me, but we had reached a critical level. I met president Piric just once, he never visited the team’s practice facility so he doesn’t know the difficulties we faced. There was no organization, the players often came to me to complain about the missed payments”
Ravenelli will be replaced by Giovanni Sannino, the Italian manager previously managed abroad also at Watford and will start the next chapter of his career in the Ukraine.
